PRP Hair Regeneration

Platelet -Rich Plasma Hair Growth

What is PRP Hair Regeneration

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) hair regrowth therapy involves injecting PRP into the scalp.

This treatment aids in the recovery of hair follicles, resulting in the stimulation of new hair growth. It is a highly effective solution for hair loss and thinning.

PRP hair regeneration is a non-surgical and non-invasive treatment.

How does it work?

PRP involves extracting a small amount of the patient’s own blood which is processed to extract the platelet rich plasma.

Once prepared PRP is then injected into the scalp, stimulating the dormant hair follicles and prolonging the active growth phase of the hair cycle.

PRP helps to improve blood circulation, providing nourishment to the hair follicles and reducing inflammation in the scalp.

PRP is suitable for:

  • Treating male & female androgenic alopecia

  • Treating post-partum hair loss

  • Traction Alopecia

  • Improving the condition and health of the scalp

  • Promoting the rejuvenation of thinning hair, resulting in increased thickness and fullness.

As you can see in the image to the right, the HYCOOX injector is used for the precise injection of platelets into the scalp. This method aims to achieve improved consistency, even distribution of the product, minimal discomfort, and reduced recovery time. The HYCOOX injector is also utilised for PRP skin rejuvenation treatments.

What to expect post treatment?

Mild discomfort or headache (paracetamol can help treat this)
